Join us for an afternoon of exploration, networking and celebration! The Celebrate Her Gala is an exciting opportunity for high school female athletes to explore new opportunities and learn from female leaders in sport. It is also a valuable opportunity for leaders and athletes to develop meaningful connections with each other by sharing stories and participating in our Conversation Café.

 

We have three primary goals of our Celebrate Her Gala:

 

  1. Help high school female athlete explore career, leadership and participation options in sport by connecting with female leaders with sport experience in the community
  2. Give #52Strong featured women and other community leaders an opportunity to meet and network with each other
  3. Recognize and celebrate the contributions of female leaders in the community

 

We ask all participants to make an optional $20 donation at the door or sell a minimum of $20 worth of raffle tickets. Please download and print the Raffle Tickets Package. Please bring all raffle tickets sold and cash to the event for great raffle prizes!

3 Rotations of table talks/activities that are 20 minutes each

 

4:15 PM – Thank you and gift presentation to all Leaders involved                        with LTS

 

4:30 PM – Closing Keynote (Community Members welcome)

 

4:50 PM – Final remarks, raffle and closing

MENTORS AND MENTEES

 

We encourage participants to join us with a mentor or mentee as a pair.

For participants coming as a pair, the recommended donation will be $30 for the pair.

KEYNOTE SPEAKER

JENNIFER REYNOLDS

Jennifer Reynolds is a former varsity athlete with the Queen’s University triathlon team, where she was ranked as Ontario’s top female varsity triathlete. Having graduated from Queen’s University Smith School of Business, Jennifer now works in Corporate Strategy at Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment (MLSE) in downtown Toronto. As an champion for inclusion, Jennifer is the lead of MLSE’s employee Pride group and is a dedicated volunteer with the non-profit You Can Play.
